Make a donation in lieu of a special occasion

Celebrate life... with a gift of life

There are lots of ways to fundraise for Kids Research Institute and using celebration envelopes is just one of the ways you, your family and friends can help.

If you are celebrating a special occasion and would like your guests to donate in lieu of gifts, we can send you our special celebration envelopes. These are reply-paid envelopes with donation slips that guests can use to send their donation directly to the Kids Research Institute. Your guests who donate will receive a tax-deductible receipt and you (the organiser) will receive a letter indicating the names of the guests who donated and the total amount raised.

Your celebration could take a variety of forms – a wedding, baby shower, christening, birthday or anniversary. The opportunities are endless. So why not share your joy at your next occasion by giving sick children the gift of life and a better future – one where they too can celebrate the special moments in their lives.

Other ways you can support the Kids Research Institute

You may choose to support a specific area, project within the Kids Research Institute or you can choose for your donations to be directed to where they are most needed. Ways in which you can help include:

  • Launch a "payroll contribution scheme" to staff where their regular donations through their salary will be directed to the Kids Research Institute
  • Cause-related marketing
  • Actively promote staff to hold fundraising events like BBQ's, raffles, trivia nights etc with proceeds directed to the Kids Research Institute
  • Organise a fundraising event with proceeds benefiting the Kids Research Institute
  • Purchase our Hospital merchandise as corporate gifts
  • Place a collection tin on your counter-top at your workplace
  • Give your clients the opportunity to donate to the Kids Research Institute when using your services
  • Become an official Outlet for Bandaged Bear Day

  • Organise a team for our City2Surf "Think Kids Challenge"
  • Donate presents for distribution by Santa at Christmas time
