Research outline - Australian Paediatric Surveillance Unit
On this page:
Research program
In addition to ongoing surveillance for 14 rare diseases/conditions through the APSU, and development of new surveillance studies, we are continuing to contribute to the development of the PAEDS and AMOSS surveillance systems. More information can be found at www.apsu.org.au. We have also started a program of research on the impacts of rare diseases on families, clinicians, and health services. The outcome from this research will inform the development of coordinated plans to address rare diseases, and information resources for families and clinicians.
