From Wisdom to Ways: Enhancing Student Well-Being
Each year, the Children’s Hospital Education Research Institute (CHERI) host a conference showcasing the latest in learning and neurocognitive research, aimed at improving the lives of young people. Research is particularly focused on children with ongoing or long-term health issues.
Taking place on 24th October, this year’s conference is a not to be missed event for educators, school counsellors, psychologists, allied health professionals and all those in whose care rests the well-being of every child.
The conference offers the opportunity to look closely at future directions in well-being, in light of new challenges and increased support needs in a rapidly changing social context.
Presentations will include: how to measure student well-being, suicide prevention, gender, sexuality, bullying and details of the new national education school based initiative for mental health.
