SPHERE Translational Research Fellowship Scheme (TRFS) is now open!

Round 2 of the Sydney Partnership for Health, Education, Research & Enterprise (SPHERE) Translational Research Fellowship Scheme (TRFS) is now open!

The SPHERE TRFS intends to support healthcare professionals/clinicians within research active units to undertake high-quality, clinically relevant research. The fellowship funding will make provisions for salary support, commensurate with the Fellow’s substantive clinical position for three years and infrastructure funding for direct research costs.

To be eligible, applicants should be:

• A healthcare professional/clinician who will complete a research higher degree (PhD) within the period of the fellowship

          or

• A healthcare professional/clinician who has completed a research higher degree (PhD, MD or equivalent) within the past 10 years and has a track record of research productivity.
• Employed within a SPHERE health service partner (SCHN Randwick, SESLHD, SVHN Sydney, SWSLHD) as a healthcare professional/clinician.

Deadline for expression of interest is the 4^th of July 2019.
