Big win for Big Brain!

The new network research collaboration 'Big Brain' - a significant initiative that aims to shape research and clinical care for children with neurodevelopmental disorders has received a three year $510,000 grant from the Ainsworth Foundation through the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation. 

'Big Brain' is a collaboration led by Prof Russell Dale, Dr Michelle Farrar and Prof Adam Guastella with a national collaborative vision focused on improving our understanding of the disease pathways and mechanisms of neurodevelopmental, neurological and psychiatric disorders which will ultimately transform healthcare in these diseases.  It will not only enable faster, more precise diagnosis and improved prognosis but will also allow the development of targeted treatments for patients and their families.
